Achievements

Vadhya pranavam - 1

In 2011 December 24, sopanam School of Panchavadyam  presented a developed Panchavadyam including 101 students and 100 professional artists in the temple premises of Sri. Kozhishyangattu Bhagavathi temple at Valayamkulam which is marked in LIMCA Book of Records as first time in the history with 201 members as total. 

Thalavaikari

In 2015 November 29, sopanam School of Panchavadyam  presented a Thayambaka performance including 101 artists and 163 supporting artists in the temple premises of Sri. Durga Bhagavathi temple at Pothannur which is marked in LIMCA Book of Records as first time in the history with 264 members as total. 

PANCHAVADYAM TEAM OF LADIES

In 2016 October 30, sopanam School of Panchavadyam  developed a Panchavadyam group of ladies including 31 members in the temple premises of Sri. Mahadeva temple at Perumparambu and they took part in various performances at different venues. 

Vadyolsavam

The amazing event ‘Vadyolsavam’ was organized in Perumparambu Mahadeva Temple shrine on 2017 May 7th to 12th. This event was flag off by LSGD (Local Self Government Department) Minister Dr. K. T. Jaleel in the presence of eminent personalities from the field of arts and culture.

The inaugural ceremony of Vadyolsavam was held on 7th of May 2017 at 4 pm. The famous cine artist as well as Thayambaka artist Padmasree Jayaram inaugurated the musical event. The Vadyolsavam which aimed at the presentation of rare and vulnerable types of percussion arts of Kerala had successfully implemented its vision by performing these art types in front of common audience.

Thalasopanam

The fourth branch of sopanam at Thavanur marked its debut performance with the name ‘Thalasopanam’ on 10th November 2013. Around 110 people were participated in the event.

Thalapravesham

The branch of sopanam at pazhanji made its debut performance with the name ‘Thalapravesham’ on 20th February 2014. Around 60 students made their first performance in that auspicious event.

Thalamritham

‘Thalamritham’ was the debut performance of third batch of the Valayamkulam branch of sopanam School of Panchavadyam on 10th October 2014.

Thalalayam

'Thalalayam' is the debut performance of the students of Vellalur branch of sopanam School on 15th January 2015. It is marked as first event in Kerala in which 36 participants joined together for Chenda-Thaymbaka performance.

Thalaprabancham

Panchavadyam with 101 participants including the students who made their premier performance of Veginikkara branch named as ‘Thalaprabancham’ on 20th November 2015.

Vadya pranavam-2

The Vellancherry branch conducted Panchavadyam of 111 members including the debut performance named as 'Vadya Pranavam-2'. The programme was inagurated by the Minister Local Self Government Dr. K. T. Jaleel.
