History

The idea to start a school for teaching Panchavadyam has come to the mind of Shri. Santhosh Alankode, who is the Director of Sopanam and Instructor, during 2009 at the divine temple of Shri. Kozhishyangattu Bhagavathi. The fulfillment of this idea could materialize after several discussions with the temple committee on 9th December 2010 with the whole hearted support of the people surrounded the temple, especially Shri. Jagesh Pattyath and Shri. Vijeesh Pattyath.

The other names to be remembered are Shri. P.T. Subrahmanian (Temple Trustee), Shri. Naripparambu Manakal Vasudevan Namboodiri, Shri. Govindarajan Master, Shri. P.K. Preman, Shri. Anvar Valayamkulam and many other well-wishers around the temple.

Apart from this there were an advisory committee includes Shri. Alankode Leelakrishnan, Shri. P.T. Subrahmanian, Adv. P. Rajagopala Menon, Shri. Prakashan Manhapra, Shri. Kurungat Vasudevan Naboothiri, Shri. Unni Sukapuram, Shri. Mohan Alankode, Shri. Adaat Vasudhevan Mash, Shri. K. V. Unnikrishnan Mookuthala, Adv. K. T. Ajayan (Melam Charitable Trust, Valanchery), Shri. Nariparambil Mana Vasudevan Namboothiri (Valayamkulam) who are giving timely advises and instructions for the improvement of the school.
